Popular artist? You can easily expect to pay $80...$90 for just one character. Well, how about $25 for full digital color and background of any size? Starting to sound a little more reasonable? Sounds like you'd be able to afford other things after the commission...like, oh I don't know...food.
Why order a commission? Have you wanted a custom tailored picture of your own character? Maybe a gift for someone else? Or, just want another character from a popular series doing what you want them to do? Why settle for the same low-res background of the same pose you've seen the upteenth time? 1) Each additional character is double the price as it takes twice as long, except full-color shaded bgs, those are only $20 per extra character.
- eg. 2 character color sketch = $20. 3 character color sketch = $30.
- eg. 2 character flat-color = $30.
